Cherry Smoothie Bowl Recipe
This smoothie bowl reminds me of Christmas in Australia! Cherries are one of my favourite fruits and make this bowl so delicious. For a quick, easy snack you can pour into a cup and take away instead, check out my mixed berry smoothie recipe.
Cherry Smoothie Bowl Recipe

Dietary preferences: Vegetarian, Gluten-free
Ingredients:

150g (1 cup) dark sweet frozen cherries

½ medium banana, peeled and chopped

2 tsp acai berry powder (optional)

125ml low-fat milk

100g low-fat plain yoghurt
Topping
- 8 whole fresh cherries
- 2 tbsp desiccated or flaked coconut
- 20g almonds
- 1 tbsp cacao nibs
Method:
1. Place the frozen cherries, banana, acai powder, if using, milk and yoghurt in a blender and blend until smooth.
2. To serve, pour the smoothie mixture into a bowl and top with the fresh cherries, coconut, almonds and cacao nibs. Enjoy!
